Florida is just beautiful in general this time of year but Walt Disney World is EXTRA beautiful! Spring is my favorite season, I love all the bright colors and the weather is so nice and Disney has a lot of fun things going on as well! From Flower and Garden Festival to celebrating Earth Day and everything in between you can’t help but find cute merchandise and cute, tasty treats all around the parks! Let’s talk about everything Disney has going on for Spring!

Flower and Garden Festival
By far my favorite Epcot festival, Flower and Garden festival is in full bloom this time of year and runs all the way through June! You can read all about my first opening day experience and everything this festival has to offer here! There are beautiful topiaries of Disney characters throughout the park, gorgeous food the also tastes good and all the Orange Bird!!

Epcot Easter Egg Hunt
This started March 20th and runs through April. Y’all know how much I love the scavenger hunts in Epcot so when there are two going on at the same time I’m extra happy! Hahahaha! This is a fun Easter egg hunt through Epcot where you can find giant eggs decorated like Disney characters and you place the stickers on the map as you find them. When you’re finished you turn it in for a completer prize of a cute Disney Easter egg to take home!

Disney Resort Easter Eggs
This is something I had never experienced before and I was so excited to be able to go see these this year! At the Grand Floridian the lobby is full of amazingly decorated chocolate eggs and they even have the Grand Cottage in the center where you can get some tasty treats. I had the Lemon Blueberry Whoopie Pie and it was delicious!!

You may even catch an artist decorating an egg right there in the lobby. There are also eggs over at the Contemporary Resort and The Beach Club. They are all different at each resort and have different themes about them. This is such a cool thing to go see and do on a chill day in Disney. Hop on the monorail and stop at the Grand Floridian and Contemporary then you could hop on the Skyliner to go over to the Beach Club. With the weather the way it has been this will make for a perfect day!

Celebrate HER Story
Throughout the whole Walt Disney World resort there are special items, foods and drinks made by the talented women of the Walt Disney Company! Disney Springs seems to be the hub of most of this and where you can find the most stuff. You can read on the Disney Parks Blog about all the amazing women that have created these things for us all to enjoy.

Celebrate Earth Day at Animal Kingdom
There is always a lot of cool things going on for actual Earth Day in Animal Kingdom as it is also the opening anniversary of this park, but they celebrate Earth Day all month long in April! There are lots of special foods and drinks that look amazing! I can’t wait to try some of these. Honestly, I’m not really a cupcake person but this elephant and flamingo cupcake made me want one! I’m most excited for the cocktails here, Animal Kingdom always has the best cocktails. I personally love that this park is so different from he other parks. And the way they celebrate always is too.

Merchandise
Of course there are tons of things you can buy that are Easter and Springtime related! There are the cutest Easter Bunny Mickey and friends plushes right now. I also saw the most adorable bunny rabbit ears yesterday that had matching Dooney and Bourke bags for those of you not on a budget! Hahaha! NO doubt my favorite merchandise for all of these things would be all the Orange Bird stuff! This is the time of year I wish I was a lottery winner or independently wealthy so I could just have all the Orange bird things! But thankfully I have until June to try and strike it rich and pick up a few things, but on the flip side they keep adding more stuff and adding to the total. Picture Credit Shop Disney.

Conclusion
So in closing, Disney is amazing at springtime. Spring Break crowds can get real bad and we will be blacked out for two weeks after this week but thankfully we can enjoy Disney Springs and the resorts during that time. All the landscaping in Disney is extra special this time of year to me and every park just looks so beautiful. I know we don’t really have a winter here but it’s still not as bright and green during the winter months so spring is a welcome change! It’s not too hot yet but not cold, you can wear a sweater in the evening and be comfortable and the bugs are not out yet! So if you can plan a trip for the Spring months…….DO IT! I can plan it for you through Wondrous Adventures and would love to! As always, thank you all for reading along, I hope you enjoyed this one! Y’all are the best and I so appreciate you, have the most magical day!
