This summer is packed with tons of new stuff coming soon to Disney Springs! From new interactive experiences to new restaurants and stores there is a ton to be excited for in Disney Springs. With official opening dates announced for some things this week, I thought we should jump in and see what all is coming this summer!
Level 99
Level 99 is opening up in the old Disney Quest / NBA Experience building. This coming soon to Disney Springs opens on June 29th!! Think Trials of the Temple meets escape room meets American Ninja Warrior but for the average person. This is Level 99’s largest venue yet and I am personally so excited to check this out! Not only will there be all the games and challenges but also great food and a two story bar! You can read more about Level 99 here.
Six Ravens by Gideons Bakehouse
We all love Gideon’s Bakehouse and the giant cookies, but coming soon to Disney Springs will be their new location and concept, Six Ravens. This will be a savory story featuring hand pie’s or Coffyns as they like to call them. They will also have local beers featured and no doubt a cool vibe! While we don’t have an exact date yet, the rumor is mid July for an opening.
New Stores Coming Soon to Disney Springs
There are a few returning and some new stores coming to Disney Springs, because yes we do need more shopping! Vans will be opening up in the old Volcom storefront. I am excited about this, I love Vans but I honestly miss Volcom. I guess it is a good fit though. Oakley has also reopened after a refurb, just in time to get a new pair of shades for the summer!
New Food Coming Soon to Disney Springs
We are getting just about the best thing for hot Florida summer days!! Disney Springs is getting Kakigori Kool, Japanese shaved ice by Morimoto Asia. This will feature Japan’s famous shaved ice dessert with popping Boba pearls, fruit flavors and all different toppings available. This sounds like so much fun and perfect to open over the summer!
Ghirardelli will be closing for a refurbishment that will allow for more indoor seating which will be really nice! This is really not a coming soon and more of a going away for a while but still good news for Ghirardelli fans. And finally, Goofy’s Candy Shop now has the viral create your own popcorn! You can add all kinds of toppings to one of three different popcorn flavors and really make it your own! So fun!
Conclusion
Disney Springs gets overlooked sometimes, you may think why go if you could go to the parks instead? Well I am here to tell you you should always have a Disney Springs day planned on your trip. This summer the kids even have some fun Cool Kids Summer activities like a Descendants / Camp Rock dance party and create your own cookies at Amorette’s! With everything coming there really isn’t much you can’t do there. I love Disney Springs! Live music, fun stores, great food and drinks and now so much to look forward to!
