Stage in the grand hall aboard the Disney Destiny

All aboard the Disney Destiny cruise ship! I got to do a tour of this beautiful ship and it is AMAZING! The level of detail and thought that has gone into every space is incredible. The artwork throughout this ship is absolutely wonderful. I wanted to take so much of it home with me but had to settle for pictures. There is truly something for everyone on the Disney Destiny. Disney Destiny Facts

When you hop aboard the Disney Destiny you are experiencing one of Disney Cruise Lines newest ships. The maiden voyage was November 20th, 2025 out of Port Everglades. This incredible ship is themed to Heroes and Villains and features Disney and Marvel characters throughout the theming. This ship is huge! With 10 pools and a capacity to for 2,500 to 4,000 guests, not including the crew of 1,500. The stern is Marvel themed and super hero Minnie can be seen on the bow. The Destiny offers multiple themed bars and lounges as well as themed dining. This ship is part of the Wish class of ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

State Rooms & Suites

The Disney Destiny has 1,256 staterooms with most of these being outside cabins with either an Oceanview or verandah. There are also fantastic suites aboard the Disney Destiny. If you are saying at the concierge level, there are 76 concierge staterooms and suites on this ship. We got to go into one of the two story Hero Suites themed after Hercules and it is GORGEOUS! The mosaic art, spiral staircase and a fabulous master bath with windows you can fog at the touch of a button. There is also an out of this world Iron Man themed destiny Tower suite that we did not get to tour but looks crazy cool! If you are needing connecting rooms there are 451 connecting cabins on the Destiny as well.

Dining Aboard The Disney Destiny

We all know we love Disney for its themed dining and the Disney destiny definitely has that covered! When you are aboard the Disney Destiny you have rotational dining included in your package. You will rotate between three restaurants for dinner and your wait staff rotates right along with you! There are also two adult only restaurants you can book at an additional price to enjoy a more intimate, upscale meal while on the ship.

Palo Steakhouse

Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King

This restaurant is more of a dining experience! It is obviously themed after the Lion King and is a theater in the round. With a stage in the middle of the room you are entertained with a retelling of the Lion King while you eat your meal. The menu has familiar staples as well African inspired dishes. There is no need to line up early for this meal, even though you will most likely see a line form. Your seating is assigned and reserved so no matter if you are the first person to be seated or the last, your table will be the same.

Feast of the Lion King

Worlds of Marvel

This place looks incredible! Your meal is very interactive here and features a Guardians of the Galaxy themed show called Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Root Remix. The menu shows off meals from different parts of the Marvel universe like Wakanda and Pym’s lab. This will definitely be a favorite if you have any Marvel fans in your party. The thumbing is spot on and keeps you looking around for hidden details.

Worlds of Marvel restaurant

1923

And last but not least, 1923! This is a very classy restaurant showcasing Walt and Roy Disney’s golden age of animation. The place settings are gorgeous and the artwork is amazing. You will find all kinds of things throughout this restaurant from the beginning of Walt Disney Studios to more current works. If you are a Disney history nerd like me this will be your favorite dining location! They serve a California inspired menu here with a variety of options. Everything here is a nod to how it all started and the two men who made it happen!

1923 restaurant aboard the Disney Destiny

Enchante’ by Chef Arnaud Lallement

This is a gorgeous high end French gourmet dining experience with the most amazing nods to Beauty and the Beast. The furnishings, decorations and seating areas are stunning. This would for sure be a date night for the books! And no kids allowed!

Enchante' on the Disney Destiny

Palo Steakhouse

Palo is a staple of Disney Cruise Line and features high end dining with a northern Italian menu. Obviously known for incredible steaks and delicious cocktails this is also an adults only dining location.

Palo Steakhouse

The Rose

The Rose is a gorgeous lounge located near Palo and Enchante’ with more beautiful nods to Beaty and the Beast. This would be the perfect spot to grab pre or pst dinner drinks. It is elegant and sets a great tone for your evening out without the kids!

The Rose lunge on the Disney Destiny

Now we don’t want to spend all our time aboard the Disney Destiny sitting at a restaurant right? Of course not! There are also quick service and casual options on the ship with a massive amount of options! Whether you have picky eaters or refined palates, there is truly something for everyone when it comes to quick service dining.

Goofy's Grill at Mickey and friends Festival of Food

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods

This is the quick service option aboard the Disney Destiny that you will find on the pool deck. Super convenient for those nice pool days! Try will find everything from BBQ and pizza to chicken tenders and sandwiches. All with super cute theming and great for an on the go option. I must say, the BBQ smelled so good and our tour guide said it is really good!

Marceline Market buffet on the Disney Destiny

Marceline Market

This is where we had lunch during our tour and it did not disappoint! Think of this as a super upscale Golden Coral. If you are like me you do not enjoy Golden Coral or other buffet’s like that where you can see kids coughing and reaching their hands into the food…..gross! This is NOT that! While it is a buffet, you do not serve yourself. You hand your plate to a Cast Member and they get what you would like for you. All the food is covered and secure so no little boogers will be added to your dining experience. Sorry I had to, it’s literally what I think about when I think of Golden Coral!

All the yummy food at Marceline Market

There are tons of options in Marceline Market. Whether you are wanting a nice salad, asian, seafood, carved meats, charcuterie or something else, it’s here! And there are two sections offering the same options so the lines don’t get backed up where you are waiting forever to get food. of course there are deserts and endless ice cream here too! I tried a little of everything and all of it was delicious. The only thing I do not recommend is the Oreo Cheesecake desert. It was neither Oreo or cheesecake to me and had a very odd texture that was not a winner. Otherwise everything I ate was fabulous!

Cafe Megara aboard the Disney Destiny

Cafe’s

There are also some cafe areas throughout the Disney Destiny serving coffee and themed drinks. Cafe Megara is Hercules themed and located near the lobby. You can find cocktails and coffee here. Cafe Merida themed after Brave and can be found midship on desk 5 and serves coffee and Scottish shortbread. These are just small little cafe areas with fantastic theming that you can run to grab a quick coffee or drink!

Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Destiny

Themed Bars on the Disney Destiny

I cannot stress enough how incredible the thumbing in all the themed bars are aboard the Disney Destiny! They are incredible! If you have been in the Beak and Barrel in Magic Kingdom, it’s that level of theming and immersion. Disney really outdid themselves with these.

Cask and Cannon Pirate Lounge

Cask & Cannon

Yoho, Yoho, a Pirates bar for me! Located on Deck 5, this bar has such a cool pirates theme and offers and extensive rum menu, a place to watch live sports and pub food like loaded tater tots. The seating and ceiling are so cool in here! It’s like a paired down Beak and Barrel but still very cool. Anyone want to go and share the Dead Man’s Chest cocktail with me?!

De Vils, Cruella themed lounge on the Disney Destiny

De Vil’s

I mean who wouldn’t want to go hang out in a classy, Cruella themed piano bar?! This one is adults only and is exactly where I picture Cruella having a drink. The menu features curated martinis, old fashioneds and bubble cocktails worthy of a fashionista! you can find this gem near the Grand Hall.

The Sanctum, Marvel themed lounge

The Sanctum

I bet Dr Strange really can make a great cocktail! This Marvel themed lounge offers cocktails of the mystical arts inspired by Dr Strange. This is where you will find the floating cocktail and lots of cool presentation for your drinks. This one is open and not in its own, closed area but offers great theming and a good amount of seating. Plus it’s right across from our next bar so it makes the bar hopping easy!

Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Destiny

Haunted Mansion Parlor

So I saved the best for last here, obviously! This is a dream come true for a Haunted Mansion dork like me! I have ALWAYS wanted to be able to just chill in the mansion and here, I can! This theming is over the top, crazy good. I cannot stress enough how superb this bar is. It is interactive, it makes you feel like you are sitting inside the Haunted Mansion and Madame Leota even makes an appearance. They serve cocktails and mocktails that are all true to the spooky theming. I feel like you could go in here multiple times and find some new detail each time. It was all I could do to get myself out of here while on the tour. I may have even gotten in trouble for staying in there too long and not moving on to the next thing. Oops, sorry not sorry!

Movie artwork, so cute!

Entertainment Aboard the Disney Destiny

No Disney vacation is complete without some Broadway style shows and an abundance of entertainment options! When you are aboard the Disney Destiny you will for sure have options for entertainment. From stage shows to trivia and comedy, the Disney Destiny has a little of everything!

The Walt Disney Theater where all the shows happen on the Disney Destiny

Walt Disney Theater

The main theater aboard the Disney Destiny is The Walt Disney Theater. Here you will find three signature, broadway style shows. New on this ship is Hercules: A Hero’s Journey with incredible costuming and huge puppets. You will also see Frozen – A Musical Spectacular that is a retelling of the original movie. And Disney Seas the Adventure, led my Captain Minnie and featuring Disney characters in a fun musical show. This theater is beyond gorgeous and I don’t feel like there are any bad seats. They all have a great view of the stage. No doubt these shows are breathtaking!

Saga club

Saga

Think of this as your 2000’s era club scene. By day there are family friendly activities but at night it is adults only! At night Saga offers comedy, trivia and even a silent disco. There is a full bar here as well so pretty much all you need for a fun night out in a beautiful atmosphere.

The Hero Zone on the Disney Destiny

All The Extras!

On top of all of that, there are tons of extra entertainment offerings to choose from. The Hero Zone is an Avengers Campusesque area with sports, games and they even set up inflatable, ninja warrior style obstacle courses! There are also two movie theaters, the Wonderland and Neverland theaters offer free first run movies. Of course there is also the AquaMouse water slide, 10 pools and the Pirate party complete with fireworks! Absolutely no way you could be bored on this ship!

Fairytale Hall in the Oceaneers Club on the Disney Destiny

Disney Destiny Kids Zones

On top of there being tons of adult only zones where you will find no children, there are also kids zones where you won’t find any adults! It’s only fair right? These themed area are age specific and tailored to provide age appropriate fun.

The Oceaneers Club

Disney’s Oceaneer Club for Ages 3-10

This area is incredible! Kids can enjoy the Star Wars Cargo Bay, Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab and Mickey & Minnie Captain’s Deck. These areas offer interactive play areas, virtual roller coasters and so much more!

It's a small world club for the tiniest sailors aboard the Disney Destiny

It’s A Small World Nursery for Ages 6 Months-3 Years

This is the cutest, sweetest little area!!! Now this one is fee based and not free like the other kids zones so just be prepared for that.

Edge for Ages 11-14

The coolest spot for kids, as an adult I would want to hang out in here! Edge is designed to look like a NYC loft and gaming, movies and activities. Kids are welcome to bring food in with them but other than some drinks there is no food served.

Tween and Teen, Edge Kids Club

Vibe for Ages 14-17

This is the ultimate teen hangout honestly. A smoothie bar, neon, karaoke, gaming areas and multiple hangout spots make this such a cool area. Themed around a Parisian loft, the design is so fun! Attached to Edge you will find a separate area that is sometimes closed off and only for the 18-20 year olds and other times it is open to the younger teens. There are also special meet ups and activities for this age group called the 1820 society.

All of these areas are for kids only but parents and adults can check them out during open house times. Specifically there are open house hours on the day you board the ship. I even went down the slide to the Oceaneers Club! Stairs are overrated! I love that there are such fun spaces for kids, not just so the kids have fun but also so the parents don’t feel guilty going to have some adult fun!

Vibe Kids Zone for older teens up to age 18

Adult Only Spaces

This is Disney, of course there are tone of great things for all the kids! But don’t under estimate the amount of adult only spaces there are to enjoy on this ship. we already talked about the bars and restaurants that are no kids allowed but what about the rest of the ship? There is a Quiet Cove Pool & Deck in Deck 13 aft that features an infinity pool, hot tubs, the Cove Bar and the adorable Cove Cafe.

Quiet Zone pool deck, adults only area on the Disney Destiny

This area has some nicely secluded areas away from the main pool and all the excitement but it also has an area where you can still enjoy seeing what’s happening in that main pool deck area if you want to. The best of both worlds! Cove Bar is a full bar with all your adult drinking needs so no need to have to go far for that. And the Cove Cafe is a super classy Moana themed cafe serving coffee, tea and pastries during the day and cocktails and wine in the evening.

Booking a Cruise Aboard the Disney Destiny

Hoping aboard the Disney Destiny would be the most relaxing, stress free vacation! everything is included for the most part and right at your fingertips. No way anyone could possibly be bored with all there is to do on the ship! So how do you book your cruise? Well you can start by requesting a quote from Wondrous Adventures who sponsored me on this tour of the Disney Destiny with Disney Travel Professionals. You can book cruise only or add a land and sea package to hit up a park if your itinerary allows and even add some extra fun on Disney’s Castaway Cay!

Lumiere saying hello outside Enchente'

Conclusion

Getting aboard the Disney Destiny to see all the things was so much fun! And all of this is just what is offered to you on the ship. This doesn’t even cover all there is to do on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay! Maybe I’ll get to go check that out one of these days. Definitely on the bucket list after seeing how marvelous this ship is. There is so much I feel like I didn’t cover here. Like the Rapunzel themed salon or the Captain Hook barber shop with a hidden speakeasy. An amazing spa and even a fabulous fitness center. Just so much magic!

I feel like, unlike the parks, you would have plenty of opportunity to experience everything and really soak it in. At the parks you kind of have to pick and choose, you can’t eat everywhere in one trip! I mean you could try I guess, haha! I will definitely be planning a Disney Cruise for my family very soon. If you have cruised with Disney before, let me know what your favorite part was. Thanks for reading along and have a magical day!
