Halfway to Halloween at Disney is the BEST!! Anyone else have Boo To You stuck in your head yet?! Obviously it is actually halfway to Halloween and it is when Disney announces all their Halloween event dates and releases special treats that are Halloween themed. There are some merchandise items released and just overall a time that makes my dark Halloween loving heart so happy! Disney’s social media has been full of Haunted Mansion stuff and that has made me so excited for all the things coming this fall. So let’s dive into some of the announcements that have been made this week.
Halfway To Halloween Treats!
Most of the Halfway to Halloween offerings have had a Haunted Mansion theme and I am here for it! There are all kinds of treats like the Madame Leota Chocolate Cake available at the Contemporary Resort this weekend only! It is so cute and we all know how much I love Madame Leota!
There are other treats all over the place! You can get a Jack Skellington Bubble Waffle Sundae at Marketplace Snacks in Disney Springs, the resorts all have special spooky treats and you can even grab one of those adorable Donald Duck Candy Corn Sippers at the resorts and Disney Springs.
Even Gideons Bakehouse in Disney Springs has special Halfway to Halloween offerings! These include Pumpkin Cheesecake snack cakes and a special Halfway to Halloween trading card, there’s even a pen and temporary tattoo you can get

Secret Items
There are even secret Halfway to Halloween items!! If you go into the Main Street Confectionary in Magic Kingdom and go over to the Kernel Kitchen you can get a secret treat IF you know the secret code! Don’t tell anyone I told you!
If you whisper “Doom Buggy” to the cast member from today to May 4th you can purchase a creepy caramel popcorn for $15.99. So fun!!
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Dates
One of the biggest announcements is, of course, the dates for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Disney announced that the party will once again take place in Magic Kingdom on select nights from August 11 through November 1st. Tickets are set to go on sale May 2nd. If you have a resort reservation at any of the Deluxe resorts, Shades of Green or the Swan and Dolphin you can purchase as early as April 27th!
If you have never been to the Halloween Party, it’s something you should absolutely do at least once! They have announced what will be at this years party and like in years past it includes the Boo To You parade that is one of my favorites, the Sanderson Sisters stage show, Fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington and of course trick or treating and character meet and greets. I wonder if they will add anything else?!
Halloween Merchandise
We also got a sneak peek at the Halloween Merchandise for this years Halloween party and just in general and it is all so cute! SO far they have released pictures of 2 sprint jerseys, 2 ear headbands, a hat, loungefly backpack (I WANT IT!) and the returning light up Mickey pumpkin that is AWESOME! These all have the cutest Mickey pumpkins on them and I love it all! They also released a new Hocus Pocus themed spirit jersey and plush set that is really cool!
Other Disney Halloween Announcements
Disney has also announced the return of the Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure that runs similarly to Mickeys Not So Scary. There are also Halloween on the High Seas sailings for Disney Cruise Line that sound so fun! Who wouldn’t want to trick or treat on a cruise ship with Minnie, Daisy and Clarabelle dressed as the Sanderson Sisters?!
Conclusion
If you know me, you know I LOVE HALLOWEEN!! So having some extra spooky season stuff now is great to me! I love that Disney does this every year to make the announcement on the party dates a little more fun. Fall and Halloween in Disney World is so great, the decorations are fabulous and there are just tons of fun things to do and eat and of course buy! Hahaha!
