You get a double post today! Disney decided to do the most today and let us in on some stuff that’s coming here to Walt Disney World so I had to let you all in on the news! From merchandise to events there were some fun things announced today. It’s all things I am very excited about so let’s dive in!
New Disney Munchling
This morning in Disney Springs Chef Christine Weissman did a presentation on the Waterside Stage where she showed how to make her Tuna Poke Bowl that inspired the new Mickey Munchling! Everyone there got a sample of the dish and then you could go over to World of Disney and purchase the new plush in a signed box. Chef Christine was also there to take pictures with guests and talk with them. She was so nice and it was really cool to meet the Culinary Director of Walt Disney World!
JOLLYWOOD NIGHTS IS BACK!
That’s right! While Disney has not released any information about the event yet, they have released a casting call for dancers and performers for this event! I personally am very excited for this because we missed out on it last year and I really wanted to go. I know there were some issues with this event last year but hopefully they have worked the kinks out after the first year and it will be even better in 2024! If you’re a dancer here is the casting call:
“Disney Live Entertainment is seeking Seasonal Dancers for a new Holiday offering, Disney Jollywood Nights, performed select nights November ? – December ?. This new show will be performed live at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at the Walt Disney World® Resortnear Orlando, FL.”
It goes on to specify this is for dancers only:
“Male and female presenting dancers with exceptional dance technique and performance quality. Must be proficient in multiple styles of dance that include musical theatre-jazz and swing. Knowledge of partnering and dance lifts is a plus! We strongly encourage BIPOC dancers and dancers of all shapes and sizes to attend.“

Pixarfest Stuff Coming to Hollywood Studios
If you are anything like me you have watched all the amazing Pixarfest popcorn buckets and sippers getting released in California and wanted to cry that it wasn’t in WDW. Well today we know that the Pizza Planet Popcorn Bucket, Slinky Dog Sipper, Mike Wazowski Cupcake, Incredibles Chocolate Cake and Lightning McQueen Spare Tire Cookie will all arrive at Hollywood Studios starting June 10th! I WILL be getting that Pizza Planet truck y’all….my husband said “that is a must have”…..Disney Adult conversion complete! Hahahaha!
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Merch
On top of all of this, Disney also gave us a sneak peek at all the Tianas merchandise coming for the new ride and it couldn’t be any cuter! Loungefly bag, Spirit Jersey, Ears, Plushes and more, Disney will just be taking all my money! This ride opens June 28th and I wonder if the store will open sooner possibly? I am hoping they put a limit on how many of each thing each person can buy so the resellers don’t take it all immediately.
New Stitch Sling At Corkcicle!
It’s time to get ready for 626 day! The brand new Stitch sling has landed at the Disney Springs Corkcicle kiosk! These will most definitely sell out soon so make sure you get yours either at the kiosk or online at Corkcicle.com. These sling bags are so great in the park or on a walk or hike!
