Pricing for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Let’s go ahead and get the elephant in the room out of the way…how much is this going to cost? Ticket prices will vary from $119-$229 per person. Child prices are for children ages 3-9 and are only about $5-$10 cheaper than the adult tickets. The variance in pricing is determined by the day you are going. Weekends are going to be more expensive and the month of October will see an increase in pricing as well. But let’s put this into perspective for an out of town guest. Let’s say you are here on vacation for 5 full days with a 4 day park hopper pass. Well, if you have a party ticket for that 5th day you can spend the day relaxing or exploring Disney Springs or your resort and then head to Magic Kingdom at 4pm. Even though the party doesn’t start until 7pm you can get into the park with your party ticket at 4pm! You can get your tickets here.

What’s New This Year At Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?
The biggest NEW news for me is that Jack Skellington is getting a make-over this year! HIs elongated face is getting replaced with a more accurate round face and it looks so cool! Meeting Jack and Sally at the Town Square Theater is a big deal. Some people have waited for 4 hours or more. If meeting them is a priority for you, get there right at 4 and go straight to the line. When I met them that’s what I did and I only waited about 20 minutes. For more planning tips check out my guide here.

Also new this year is meeting Mickey and Minnie together in their Halloween best! They will be opposite Jack and Sally in the Town Square Theater. I love when they have couples together for the meet and greets. Storybook Circus is also transforming into a happy haunt for families and younger kids this year. usually there is only a character meet over here and not much else for the party so this will be fun to see. There is also going to be a new dance party inspired by Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires. The dance parties are usually on the Tomorrowland Stage or inside Cosmic Ray’s.

Attractions At Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
There are a few attractions that get a special overlay during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for 2025. These are not new, but still very fun. Space Mountain will be pitch black and have spooky tunes playing, the Mad Tea Party has really fun lighting effects and ambiance and Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor will have Halloween jokes! Although Haunted Mansion isn’t different during the party, you can catch Madame Carlotta and some of the other happy haunts outside in the queue line and they are not to be missed!!

On top of those, there are lots of other attractions open during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Part of the appeal of the party is that you won’t have to wait in super long lines for your favorite rides in Magic Kingdom. Here’s what is open during the party:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
- Swiss Family Treehouse
- Jungle Cruise (I say we need an overlay here like we get for Christmas!)
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
- Haunted Mansion
- Journey of the Little Mermaid
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- It’s A Small World
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Winnie the Pooh
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Barnstormer
- Astro Orbitor
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- People Mover
- Tron Lightcycle Run

Trick or Treating At Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
What is a Halloween Party without candy?! There are trick or treat trails all throughout Magic Kingdom. Each land has at least one place to trick or treat, some having more. These are relatively quick and you get a lot of candy! You are given a small trick or treat bag when you arrive for the party but if you plan on getting a lot of candy, definitely bring a bigger bag. They shovel it in your bag! There are also allergy friendly treats and those will have a special icon and color out front so you know they are there. Honestly, we got a lot of candy at the party and used in on Halloween…..pro tip! Hahahaha!

PhotoPass Pictures at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
In my opinion, this party has the BEST PhotoPass pictures! The park looks so spooky and there are super fun Magic Shots. Year before last I got to go twice and the second time pretty much all I did was go around and get all the Magic Shots! Some of these you can start doing early when you arrive at 4pm or just before 7pm but they are better after dark. If you can catch them before a parade starts and they start to clear Main Street, even better. They had the Lonely Ghosts, Huey Duey and Louie from Trick or Treat, the Headless Horseman and the Skeleton Dance in the past, plus more!

Entertainment at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
The entertainment at this party is some of my all time favorites! There are three different offerings here and if you time it right you can find a good spot in the hub and stay there for all three. Definitely go back and read my guide for how to make the most of your time at the party.
Boo To You Parade
The Boo To You parade used to only happen once at the party and could feel a little late for younger kids so last year they added a second time that was earlier to accommodate families with younger kids who might not make it to the 11pm parade. The parade typically will happen at 8:15 and 11:15 at each party and runs the same route as the Festival of Fantasy parade. I love this parade so much! Villains, Hitchhiking Ghosts, Dead Waltzers and Gravediggers, the Headless Horseman and a song that will be stuck in your head all season, what’s not to love?

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular
The fireworks show at Mickey’s not So Scary Halloween Party are AMAZING! The show is hosted by Jack Skellington and it is really something to see a giant Jack walking around and talking in front of the castle! The fireworks follow a great storyline where Zero is helping Mickey and his pals on a Halloween adventure. There are castle projections and great fireworks and music. The show runs once at 10pm at each party.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
If you love Hocus Pocus and the Sanderson Sisters then you do NOT want to miss this show! It is so entertaining and you get to sing along with some of your favorite songs with your favorite villains. The casting is incredible too, the Sanderson Sisters are always spot on! You can catch this show three times during the party usually around 9pm, 10:30pm and midnight.

Food at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
There will be lots of fun specialty foods at the party, we don’t have all the details yet but here are a few things Disney has let us know to expect:
- Madame Leota Seance Candle: Red Velvet Cake with Cookies and Cream Mousse
- Mickey-shaped Cheesecake: Pumpkin Cheesecake with Graham Cracker Crust and White Chocolate-whipped Ganache
- Beef Short Rib with Purple Potatoes: Braised with Red Wine, Figs, Peppers and a touch of Dark Chocolate
Most quick service locations will be open during the party and serving some kind of Halloween foods. You can also book a table service meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table and Be Our Guest during the party. For me personally, taking time to eat during the party hours is a waste of time. Eat before you go or grab something quick before the party officially starts so you can do all the things that are party exclusive during that time. But that being said, getting all the food and treats is a highlight for some and a priority so to each his own!

Merch at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Every good Disney event has to have good merch! We do not have any pictures or details on what’s coming for 2025 yet but it will no doubt be super cute and I will want it all. All party exclusive merch will be available at the Emporium on Main Street USA and Disney has stated it will include:
- Apparel
- Accessories
- Drinkware
- Home Decor
- Pins
- Annual Passholder Exclusive items

Characters at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
While we do not have an actual list of characters for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025 yet, we know a couple for sure. We know Jack and Sally are returning and we know we will be able to meet Mickey and Minnie at Town Square Theater. I’m sure we will get more announcements throughout the summer. In the past you cold meet the Seven Dwarfs, Elvis Stitch, Pooh and Friends in their Halloween costumes and more! The party characters are so much fun and usually the only time you can meet them in those costumes. Lines can be long for characters so definitely prioritize which ones you want to meet and start early if it is offered right at 4pm like Jack and Sally!

Conclusion
This is one of my all time favorite experiences at Walt Disney World! It is the first party we ever attended when my now 16 year old was turning one. I love Halloween so this is not really a surprise. The pricing has increased from last year, slightly and it is certainly an investment but can be so much fun and so worth it if you make the most of the party time. You will not be able to do everything, trust me I tried! But if you know what is important to you and your party you can definitely get a lot done. Because we are local, rides are never a priority for us since we can do those anytime. We still got on a couple, how can you not ride Haunted Mansion at a Halloween Party?! The shows and special experiences you can’t do outside of the party are always what we focus on if we get to go. I love seeing all the costumes at the party too, Disney people are so creative!! You can wear much more elaborate costumes at the party than you are usually allowed to wear in Magic Kingdom which is nice. If you are looking for the perfect Disney Halloween event, this is it! I hope you get to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party 2025 and have a magically spooky day!!
