Over in Disney Springs things are getting spooky! There’s a new overlay this year bringing us Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar. You may be familiar with Jock Lindsay’s doing a holiday overlay for Christmas but this Halloween overlay is brand new for 2025. You will find spooky food and drinks along with some amazing drinks all with presentation that is so much fun! Even the Halloween card menu is amazing and I may have taken it. Shhh, don’t tell on me! Let’s check it all out!

What is Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar
Firs off, let’s talk about what this bar is in the first place. If you are an Indiana Jones fan then you probably know Jock Lindsay was his pilot in Raiders of the Lost Arc. This is his hangar that he decided to turn into a bar. You will find so many fun references to the movie as well as things like the Adventurers Club. No good Indiana Jones bar would be complete without artifacts and maps all over the place and there are plenty here. You may remember that Jock had a pet snake named Reggie, well he’s roaming around somewhere in the bar too and even has his own drink! This is a cool place any day but right now, it’s over the top amazing for Halloween! This is one of our favorite bars in Disney!

Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar Decorations
I’m gonna be honest, if I could have the person who did these decorations come do my house I would be a happy woman! Haha! They are so incredibly festive and very vintage looking. I love the old plastic mold, light up figures and all the old paper decorations. There are wreaths and garlands and lights everywhere it is really well done and feels like the most fun Halloween party!

Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar Food
The special menu for Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar does not disappoint. The presentation alone of all these items is worth getting them. They have gone all out to make these so much fun! We tried everything on the Halloween menu except the the Skull of the Dead that was Mojo pork, cheddar, flour tortilla and pickle pico de gailo for $16. I knew I would be the only person to eat it and we were getting everything else so we decided to skip that one.

Alien Invader Sliders
Crispy Nashville Hot Chicken, sliced provolone, dill pickle slices on a cheddar-chive biscuit. Full transparency, we are not big Nashville hot fans so we opted to have the sauce on the side. These were delicious! The biscuit alone was so good! And how cute are these with the olive eyeballs and the pickle slice tongue?! Everyone loved these, even the 10 year old. These are $16 and very filling!

Phantom Dumplings
The next item on the Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar menu are the Phantom Dumplings. Chicken and pork dumplings wrapped in rice paper and served with teriyaki dipping sauce. These are presented at the table under a dome of smoke like a smoked old fashioned. When the server lifts off the dome they waft the smoke around and it’s so cute and spooky! Taste wise these are good but the texture was not a fan favorite at the table. I enjoyed them but no one else was feeling it. While these are adorable to look at, it kind of looks like it has a condom hanging off of it. Sorry, I just can’t describe it any other way! These are $14 and you get quit a few of them.

Zombie Eye Bites
Traditional deviled egg filling, crispy fried chicken and black olives. Ok let’s just talk about how these come to the table in a little black box that looks like a vampire casket, so spooky! You get six of these and with the chicken they are pretty filling. They are a little messy because they are upside down so you kind of have to get in there and scoop them out. I thought these were delicious and I really liked the chicken and the filling together. But, there is a red sauce used tomato the “eyes” look bloodshot.
While this looks really cool, my husband thought it tasted like ketchup and ruined these for him. I didn’t mind the sauce and didn’t get ketchup from it, not sure what it was but it didn’t bother me I still really liked these! Probably not a kid favorite unless your like deviled eggs already, mine do not! Haha! These were $17, you do get six and they do have the chicken so not too bad.

Cursed Mummy Sausages
Besides the Alien Invader Sliders, these were our favorite menu item from Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar! Mini smoked sausages wrapped in puff pastry and served with pomegranate mustard sauce. Think elevated pigs in a blanket. These come to the table in a mini coffin that when opened has a message for you! Each time it’s opened it says something different, just so cool! You get five of these and they are decent size and filling with that puff pastry. They really look like little mummies and even have eyes. The puff pastry was not too heavy and had great flavor with the sausages. The pomegranate mustard sauce was delicious, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about that but it was really well balanced and had a little kick to it! These are $14 and so worth it, kid and husband approved!

Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar Drinks
You can’t have a Halloween themed bar without some spooky drinks, right? I always love what Jock Lindsay’s comes up with on their drink menu, I don’t think I have ever been disappointed there. There are three themed cocktails and one mocktail on the Halloween Hangar Bar menu and we tried them all!

Snake Egg Surprise
This is the mocktail on the menu and the 10 year old loved it! If you have a boba fan then this will make them happy. Simply lemonade, lime juice, desert pear syrup and green apple boba pearls. It’s a purply pink drink that was sweet and a little sour, but refreshing. This mocktail was $6.75

The Spike Trap
Next on the Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar menu is The Spike Trap. Malibu Coconut Rum, Stole Vanilla Vodka, cream of coconut and sprite garnished with a ghost marshmallow “spiked” across the top. Maybe that’s how this guy became a ghost?! The glass is slanted too so it has a very ghostly, floating look about it. Plus, it’s a white, foggy looking drink. If you like vanilla and coconut like I do then you will love this drink! It was very good and surprisingly not overly sweet. This drink is $16.50.

Scarab Beetle Essence
Siesta Key Silver Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, Bols Blue Curacao Liqueur, DOLE pineapple juice and grenadine. This is the sweet drink for sure! It’s blue with that red grenadine in the bottle to look like scarab essence and when stirred up is a dark purple. It was tasty but definitely sweet so if that’s not your thing, don’t order this one! The Scarab Beetle Essence is $16.50

Cauldron Cooler
This was my favorite drink from Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar! Hendrick’s Gin, Domaine de Canton Liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup and butterfly pea extract. This comes in a little beaker with a test tube to pour into the drink that changes the color to a nice purple color. This is a light, refreshing drink that’s not super sweet. I love a good gin cocktail and this looked like it came straight out of a mad scientists lab! This drink is $17.50.

Conclusion
I am a huge Halloween fan, always have been so this is my kind of overlay! I also love Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar so when you turn it into the Halloween Hangar Bar, I’m here for it! The decorations are just so perfect and remind me of the Christmas decorations for the Jingle Cruise overlay….maybe we need a Halloween overlay on that too.

The spooky, vintage vibe is great and I want to take all the decorations home! The food was so fun and tasted good too. Sometimes you get the presentation but it’s detrimental to the taste but that was not the case here. The drinks were adorable, strong and delicious just the way I like them. If you can get here before November 4th, I highly recommend heading over to Disney Springs and hitting up Jock Lindsay’s Halloween Hangar Bar! You can see more of Disney world’s Halloween offerings here. Thanks for reading along and have a magically spooky day!
