
It’s that time of year again! It’s Flavors of Florida sponsored by Corkcicle time in Disney Springs, this is something that Disney World has been doing for a few years now and I absolutely love it! There are over 40 food locations in Disney Springs that participate by adding new items to they menus during the event that have a unique Florida flavor. This years event runs from July 1st to August 11th and there are a ton of great things to try PLUS a new seek and find activity that is totally free! Let’s jump into all the Flavors of Florida details.

Seek and Find Activity with Orange Bird
This years event guide features a fold out map of Disney Springs that is meant to take you exploring all over the Springs! You can discover fun facts and details while completing the adventure. Be on the lookout for Orange Bird as he will show you what letters to use for the secret answer. You can pick up your event guides at 4 locations:
- Eet by Manet Chauhan in the Marketplace area
- Guest Relations in Town Center
- Corkcicle. at The Landing
- City Works Eatery & Pour House on the West Side
These locations are also where you can bring your completed map back to to redeem for the completer pin. They are also offering some great discounts for those that return with a finished map making a purchase with them.

Culinary Series
This years culinary series is sponsored by Kroger Delivery and there are 6 different ones to choose from. These will take place at Waterview park by the Boathouse and will feature demonstrations from some of the renowned chef’s and restaurant owners in Disney Springs!

Pairing Events
Different from the free culinary series events, the pairing events are paid events at the individual restaurants that are offering them. You will get to sip and savor all kinds of Florida inspired flavors at this new event. There are 6 different offerings and 10 different dates to choose from.

- July 8 & 11 – Chef Art Smiths’ Homecomin’
- July 9th – Paddlefish
- July 12 & August 2 – Wine Bar George
- July 23rd – City Works Eatery & Pour House
- July 30 & August 6 – Paleo by Jose’ Andres
As I mentioned these are not free and the price tags can be a little hefty at over $100 per person. BUT, you get multiple courses with a drink pairing for each one. With the e restaurants that are offering these events it is sure to be worth every penny andI wish I was going to at least one of them! There are so many tasty desserts on the menus for Flavors of Florida and I seriously want to try them all! It just started so I have only tried 2 so far but they were both super delicious. Conclusion
Flavors of Florida is always one of my favorite things, there are so many yummy things to try and of course Orange Bird is everywhere so you know I love it! There is even a special edition Flavors of Florida Corkcicle stemless that is so cute and I’m afraid I am going to have to have it. Hahaha! Flavors of Florida is definitely not something you would plan a vacation around but it is a really great thing to experience while you are in Disney World over the summer. So far I have had the Orange Bird Float and the Orange blossom Bomb Cupcake and both were fantastic! I can’t wait to try more and will be sure to let you know how they are so stay tuned!
