Festival of the Arts Announcements!

This week we got dates and some fun details for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! This is my second favorite festival behind Flower and Garden Festival!! This festival is so colorful and so fun, if you have never been, it is not to be missed. The food, art and entertainment are really some of the best EPCOT has all year to me. But let’s dive in and talk about the details we got this week from Disney!

Dates

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will begin on January 17th and run through February 24th. This festival is ending in conjunction with the Princess races which is kind of cool! It looks like there will just be about two weeks between this and Festival of the Holidays. If you have a trip planned for this time frame, make sure you have EPCOT reservations to enjoy this beautiful festival.

Entertainment

One of my favorite things at any EPCOT festival are the photo ops at this festival! There are all kinds of picture frames you can step into and be a part of the art throughout the park. These include famous works of art and even some of your favorite scenes from classic Disney movies! This festival also offers live entertainment in eluding acrobatic performers, artists at work painting masterpieces and even chalk art that will blow your mind! You will also get to enjoy the Disney on Broadway Concert Series again in 2025!

Art

It is Festival of the Arts after all so of course there is art everywhere! This is part of what makes this festival so aesthetically pleasing and colorful. Some of your favorite artists including Thomas Kinkade, Rob Kay, Jerrod Maruyama, Will Gay and more will be there with their artwork for sale and signing the artwork you buy. The official list of artists attending has not been released yet but I think we can bet on some of the ones we’ve come to expect to return. The nice thing about the artwork at this festival is that there is something for every price range. You don’t have to be a major art collector to enjoy shopping and looking at the art at this festival. You can get postcard prints for $5-$7 at a lot of the places and then the smaller size prints usually run between $25-$50. Then you can also find some incredibly beautiful, but very expensive pieces of art as well! I have too many but will most likely add to the collection this year too! Haha!

Food

No EPCOT festival is complete without FOOD!!!! And this festival is no exception, there are lots of food booths throughout World Showcase and beyond with food that not only tastes good but is a work of art itself! No official announcements have been made yet on the menus but I expect they will be coming soon. The food here is always very fun, playful and colorful with lots of dessert options. I will update this post when we have booth and menu announcements!

Conclusion

As I said int he opening, this is my second favorite festival. The colors, art, entertainment and the interactiveness are the best here. I feel like this is a fun one for kids because there is just so much to look at, of course your kids touching artwork can be stressful so make sure they know to look and not touch! We all end up getting artwork at this festival. Thatcher has been collecting Spiderman, Avengers, Pluto and Darkwing Duck prints, Sawyer is always looking for Stitch prints, Jay loves his Donald Duck and attractions prints and of course I am always excited to find the new Orange Bird prints! I always feel like this festival is gone before I am ready for it to leave, it always leaves me wanting more. So if you haven’t already, get a trip booked between January 17th and February 24th and hit up the EPCOT Festival of the Arts! You won’t regret it! Thank you all for reading along and be sure to bookmark this post so you can come back for updates on Broadway artists, food booths and menus, and artist signing schedules. Have a magical day!
