The first EPCOT festival of the year has begun! The International Festival of the Arts 2026 started last Friday and runs through February 23rd. This is my second favorite festival, just slightly behind Flower and Garden Festival. The park is full of colorful artwork and performers. And this year, lot’s of new food items! Opening day was busy but fun and I can’t wait to go back and try more food….and buy some new art!

Entertainment for Festival of the Arts 2026
On top of all the great food there is also some really great entertainment! Disney on Broadway stars like Susan Egan and Michael James Scott perform at the America Garden Theater and are always so fun. There are acrobats and artists showing you how they create their masterpieces on the lawn stage at Communicore Hall and more! There is also an incredible exhibit of Disney on Broadway costumes and props from their shows. They are so beautiful and it is amazing to see them this close up. There is also amazing chalk art that changes daily at the entrance to World Showcase, these are one of my favorite things at the festival.

Artists Signings
In additional to all the amazing art booths all over the park, there are also artist signings! That’s right! Once you buy your picture, the artist may just be there signing artwork that day! You can find the list of when each artist will be in the park here. I will never be someone who goes to an art gallery and buys a painting then has the artist sign it, at least I don’t think so. But I do love buying art in Epcot and it is very cool to talk with the artist and get them to sign their pieces. Even if it is just a postcard sometimes!

Festival of the Arts 2026 Extras
We all know no EPCOT festival is complete without a scavenger hunt and a food walk! Festival of the Arts in 2026 is no different. Figment’s Brush With The Masters takes you around World Showcase searching for famous paintings with a little purple twist! Think Mona Lisa Figment, Figment in Starry Night, you get the picture. Pun intended! You can get the completer prize of a paint but number set to finish at home with stickers. They are very cute!

The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine is the food walk for the Festival of the Arts in 2026 and it is full of colorful, artsy looking dishes. Once you get your 5 stamps you can grab a completer prize at Deco Delights. It’s usually some sort of sweet drink or smoothie but I have not see the one for this year yet. And finally, drumroll please………The Loraca scavenger hunt! This is all new and so cool! You pick up your kit on the walkway into World Showcase and be on the lookout for giant Lorcana cards throughout the park to complete your quest. You can even finish up with some playing or trading in the old Restaurant Marakesh building. There are just so many fun things at this years festival!

Conclusion
As I said, this is my second most favorite EPCOT festival. All the colorful artwork, pretty and tasty foods and entertainment are so fun. If you are going to be in Disney World before February 23, this is a do not miss festival in my opinion! I can’t wait to go back and try more of the new foods, shop for some more Orange Bird art and maybe do the scavenger hunts! I hope you get to come enjoy this festival and thank you for reading along. Have a magical day!
