Flavors of Florida is a cool little event held at Disney Springs from July 1st – August 13th! All over Disney Springs you will find special food, drinks and treats that showcase, well, the Flavors of Florida! This event is presented by Corkcicle so they have some special things for the event too! I always enjoy this because there are so many tasty things to try and of course my favorite Orange Bird is featured. So grab a tasty orange and let’s take a look at the Flavors of Florida!

Grab A Guide
The first thing you should do is grab a guide book from one of the participating locations. I got mine from Corkcicle of course but you can find them all over Disney Springs. The guide tells you all the places that are participating in Flavors of Florida and what their offerings are for the event. There is even a map to show you where to find everything.

Free Gift With Purchase
Make sure you head over to the Corkcicle kiosk because they have the cutest gift with purchase pin set for Flavors of Florida while supplies last! They are the presenting sponsor of the event and these little pis are perfect for Florida summer! And I can promise you, you will find something in the Corkcicle shop that you can’t live without!

Photo Ops
The guide points out 3 different photo ops. Don’t get too excited, two out of the three are always available at Disney Springs. One is the Orange Bird mural at The Landing by the Boathouse, of course it’s my favorite! The next one is the the Greeting From Disney Springs postcard outside the Photo Pass Studio. And the third is actually inside the Photo Pass Studio where you can get cute pictures with “Florida” backgrounds on the green screen. Last year you could get a picture holding Orange Bird on your finger!

Culinary Series
New this year is the Culinary Series! These are cooking demonstrations from the amazing expert chefs from the Disney Springs restaurants. You can find this at Waterview Park by the Boathouse. You should definitely register in advance online here for any of these you would like to really see because they will fill up and if you’re registered you get to try the food that’s cooked! You will find demonstrations from Chef Art Smith from Homecomin’, Steve Lewis from Gideon’s Bakehouse, George Miliotes from Wine Bar George and more!

Conclusion
So are you hungry, thirsty or all of the above?! I wish Flavors of Florida went on through the whole month of August so I had more time to try all these things. They all sound fantastic! I will say that there are a few of these items the are always on these restaurants menus, but that’s not really a complaint, just an observation. I will be more apt to skip those for now since I can get them anytime so I can try more of the limited time offerings. If you find yourself wanting some of these items but unable to get a reservation, just remember that if they have a bar (most do) you can walk up and sit at the bar and still order off the menu without having a reservation. If you have a larger party definitely try to get that reservation or go to the walk up as soon as they open, usually they keep a certain number of tables open for walk up and you can still get in!
I hope you enjoyed todays post and your mouth is watering for some of these delicious drinks and eats! I thank you all for being here and reading along and hope you will all get a chance to taste some of these Flavors of Florida! Have a magical day!
